Last updated: 1 September 2024
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the JR Mobile Diesel Repair website at https://jrmobiledieselrepair.com and the services we provide. By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.
1. About Us
JR Mobile Diesel Repair is a mobile diesel engine repair and maintenance service based at 31 Ernald Gardens, Stone, Staffordshire, ST15 0AE, United Kingdom. We can be contacted at [email protected] or by telephone on +44 078 8294 1516.
2. Use of Our Website
You may use our website for lawful purposes only. You must not use the website in any way that is unlawful or harmful, or that could impair the website's availability or accessibility. You must not use the website to transmit unsolicited commercial communications, or to engage in any fraudulent or misleading activity.
We reserve the right to restrict access to parts of the website, or the entire website, at our discretion and without notice.
3. Service Bookings and Quotations
Any quotation provided by JR Mobile Diesel Repair, whether by telephone, email, or through this website, is an estimate based on the information available at the time. Final charges may vary if additional faults, parts, or labour requirements are identified during the work.
We will inform you of any material variation from a quoted price before proceeding with work that would incur additional cost. Work beyond the originally agreed scope will not be carried out without your approval.
A booking is confirmed when we have acknowledged it in writing or verbally. We reserve the right to decline bookings at our discretion.
4. Our Services
We provide mobile diesel engine diagnostics, repair, and maintenance services. All work is carried out by qualified technicians using appropriate equipment. However, we make no guarantee that any particular fault will be resolved in a single visit, particularly where faults are complex, intermittent, or dependent on parts availability.
We work on diesel-powered vehicles including cars, vans, commercial vehicles, and agricultural machinery. We reserve the right to decline work on vehicles or equipment that we consider outside our area of competence or that cannot be safely serviced in the customer's location.
5. Customer Responsibilities
As a customer, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information about the vehicle, its fault symptoms, and its service history.
- Ensure that our technician has safe and reasonable access to the vehicle at the agreed time and location.
- Inform us of any known hazards at the work location before our technician arrives.
- Pay for services in accordance with the agreed terms.
We cannot accept liability for delays or failures resulting from inaccurate information provided by the customer, or from access issues at the agreed location.
6. Parts and Materials
We source parts from reputable suppliers. Where genuine manufacturer parts are specified or requested, we will endeavour to supply them. We may offer alternative quality-equivalent parts at a lower cost where these are appropriate and the customer consents.
Parts supplied and fitted are covered by the manufacturer's warranty for that component. Labour warranty is detailed in Section 7 below.
7. Warranty on Work
We provide a 90-day warranty on labour for all work carried out, subject to the following conditions:
- The vehicle has been operated in normal conditions and in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
- No other party has worked on or modified the relevant system since our work was completed.
- The vehicle has received the appropriate ongoing maintenance (e.g. correct oil level and specification).
This warranty does not cover faults arising from pre-existing conditions unrelated to the work carried out, normal wear and tear, customer damage, or failure to follow our post-service recommendations.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other applicable consumer protection legislation.
8. Payment
Payment is due upon completion of work unless a prior arrangement has been made in writing. We accept payment by bank transfer, cash, or card payment as agreed in advance. Invoices not paid within 14 days may be subject to late payment charges in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998, where applicable.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, JR Mobile Diesel Repair shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental loss arising from our services or from use of this website, including loss of profit, loss of revenue, or loss of use of a vehicle.
Our total liability to you in respect of any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service to which the claim relates.
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, images, logos, and code — is the property of JR Mobile Diesel Repair or is used under licence. You may not reproduce, distribute, or republish any content from this website without our prior written consent.

12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects when they were last revised. Continued use of our website or services after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
